On 21 April 2021, DG Regio and DG NEAR team up with Balkan Trafik! Festival in 6 debates focusing on IPA III related topics: ‘Freedom of Expression’, ‘Environment’, ‘Inclusion’ and ‘Youth’.
Since 14 years, Member States and enlargement countries have been cooperating through Interreg IPA CBC programmes, supporting the EU accession process, promoting joint action in cross-border regions, sharing cultures and bringing citizens closer to each other. Balkan Trafik! has been celebrating the richness of Balkan cultures as long for the past 15 years in many artistic ways. Therefore, it was about time to bring the Interreg flavor to this platform, and cherish the contribution of Interreg IPA CBC to the Western Balkans and its audience.
For a full day, on Wednesday 21 April, the debates will digitally connect Brussels, Istanbul, Belgrade, Skopje, Tirana, Pristhina, Bucharest, Sarajevo through their European, regional and municipal representatives, Young European Ambassadors, and representatives from the programmes.
In such a prestigious setting, we are truly honored that our project MONET has been chosen as video testimonial to introduce the debate on freedom of expression, scheduled from 12:30 to 13:15, with participation of the project manager Milena Raznatovic, from the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro (Lead Partner).
